Harbor & Hale Realty
Harbor & Hale Realty is a boutique brokerage on the Northern Michigan lakeshore. We built the entire site from scratch: an editorial design system, a full buyer and seller journey, individual property listing pages, an agent roster, and a home-valuation engine that turns curious homeowners into seller leads. The brief was north-woods-meets-coastal-cottage luxury: deep pine, warm cream paper, brass accents, an editorial Fraunces serif over a clean humanist sans, and original photography of waterfront homes, cabins, and the towns along the bay. It reads like a firm you would trust with the biggest purchase of your life. ## What went into it - __A seller-lead engine, front and center__ The "What's your home worth?" valuation request is elevated to a hero-level feature, the single highest-value lead a brokerage site can capture, with a clean multi-step form. - __A real buyer and seller journey__ Dedicated Buy and Sell paths, a filterable listings index, and individual property detail pages with sticky agent contact, so every visitor has an obvious next step. - __Fast, findable, and honest__ Original photography compressed for speed, JSON-LD structured data, a generated sitemap, and branded agent emails throughout.

Birchwood Tax & Accounting
Birchwood Tax & Accounting is a partner-led CPA firm serving Michigan small businesses. We built the complete digital presence: a warm editorial design system, five service pages with published pricing, a resource library with email-gated guides, and an insights publication that runs itself. The design brief was "the trusted financial quarterly": cream paper, deep pine, brass accents, a ledger-rule motif echoing accounting paper, and a numbered service index set in Fraunces. It reads like a firm you would trust with your books, because that is the entire job of an accounting website. Every word on the site is content-managed through an embedded Sanity Studio. The firm edits services, pricing, team bios, the tax-deadline banner, articles, and guides in one place, and changes are live on the site within sixty seconds. No developer, no tickets, no waiting. ## What went into it - __A design system with a point of view__ Editorial typography, ledger hairlines, and open pricing in a vertical drowning in stock-photo handshakes. - __A publication on autopilot__ The Insights section publishes on a weekly schedule through our content engine: strategy, drafting, quality checks, and publishing to Sanity, end to end. - __Lead capture that respects readers__ Email-gated field guides, a monthly newsletter, and a consultation form, each firing analytics conversion events.

Mortgage Mate
Mortgage Mate is a web app built for the mortgage and real estate finance space. It gives professionals and homebuyers a full set of modern, accurate calculators that can be added to any website with a simple iframe embed. The platform includes essential tools like a Mortgage Payment calculator and an Affordability calculator, plus advanced options such as Buydown, DSCR, Refinance, Net Proceeds, Rent vs. Buy, HELOC, and Closing Costs. Each calculator delivers instant results with clear visuals, and users never need to create an account or share personal data. Beyond the calculators, Mortgage Mate features a learning hub filled with mortgage guides, real estate tips, and investment strategies, all connected to a growing blog and resource library. The project shows how we combine finance and technology to make tools that are both powerful and easy to use. ## Features - __Precision and speed__ Results update instantly as users type. Interactive charts make it simple to see principal, interest, taxes, insurance, and PMI in real time. - __Security and privacy__ All calculations run in the user's browser. No data is stored or sent anywhere else. - __Full suite of calculators__ From payments and affordability to refinancing, buydowns, and debt-service coverage, Mortgage Mate covers every step in the process. - __Professional design__ The neutral, financial-industry look blends into any site. Charts and breakdowns are formatted for quick understanding. - __Learning resources__ Guides, blog posts, and real estate tips extend the platform into a full educational hub.

Href Creative
We completely redesigned and rebuilt the Href Creative website from the ground up, modernizing both the technology stack and the user experience. - Headless Architecture: Transitioned from a traditional WordPress CMS to a headless Next.js frontend, powered by Sanity as the content management system. This gave the team more flexibility, scalability, and a future-proof development approach. - Performance & Compliance: Achieved significant improvements in performance, accessibility, and compliance scores, ensuring a faster, more secure, and standards-aligned web experience. - SEO & Site Structure: Re-engineered the site structure to strengthen SEO foundations, improve indexing, and support long-term organic visibility. - User Experience (UX): Overhauled the UI with a clean, intuitive design that makes it easier for users to navigate, find resources, and engage with services. This transformation not only elevated our brand's digital presence but also set the foundation for stronger SEO growth, higher conversion rates, and a smoother content workflow.

The Lamp HQ
The Lamp HQ is an unofficial NHL fan forum, built as a real, running web application rather than a static mockup. It is one clean, fast room for all thirty-two clubs: pick your team in settings and the whole site wears its colors. It pairs the energy of game night with a full community platform: discussion boards, threaded replies, live game tracking, and a Trade Builder that does real league-wide salary-cap math. The home page sets the scene with a live scoreboard and a news wire, then shifts into a broadcast style "Game Day Live" mode when the puck drops. Lighting the lamp flashes the page in your team's colors. The project began life as a single-team Detroit forum and grew into a league-wide platform, which is exactly the point: it shows how we build immersive, brand-led products that can scale in scope without losing their polish. ## Features - __Trade Builder__ Construct trades across any teams with real league-wide cap impact pulled from CapWages, salary retention, verified draft picks and real prospects, then share the proposal with a rich link preview and let the boards vote. - __Team personalization__ Choose any of the thirty-two clubs and the entire interface re-themes to that team, from colors to identity. - __Game Day Live and live transactions__ A broadcast mode with a sticky scoreboard and play feed, plus a live transactions wire with a coverage watchdog and a daily digest of breaking moves. - __Real community platform__ Boards, threads, replies, goal lamp reactions, and an engagement-weighted hot sort, backed by accounts, sessions, roles, a reputation ladder, and a Legends archive.

PrettyWifi
PrettyWifi is a free, design-led tool that turns your network details into a beautiful, printable QR code poster. Guests scan the code with their camera and connect instantly, with no typing and no shouting the password across the room. It is a lead magnet we built for Href Creative, designed to show our craft rather than just describe it. The whole experience is fast, private, and genuinely useful, with two dozen poster styles ranging from quiet minimalism to bold maximalism. Everything runs in the browser. Your network name and password are encoded locally and never sent to a server, so the tool is as private as it is pretty.

LLJ Copywriting
LLJ Copywriting is the home of Larissa Ray, a copywriter specializing in health content for senior living communities and health businesses. Her promise is clear from the first line: health content that worried families actually understand. We designed and built her site to match that clarity. It is warm, trustworthy, and easy to navigate, with a calm editorial tone that reflects the care she brings to her writing. Services, case studies, and a blog are all managed through a headless CMS, so Larissa can publish and update without touching code. The result is a focused professional site that builds trust quickly and turns the right visitors into enquiries.

A-TLT
A-TLT is the public face of an autonomous trading engine, anchored by The Trendline Letter, an editorial blog that publishes itself. Written under the desk analyst persona Sterling, it covers trendlines, futures, crypto, and the discipline that holds a trading system together, with the engine trading in public, losses included. The standout is the automation. New letters are drafted and shipped on a schedule with no manual posting, and each post is pushed to search engines the moment it goes live. The site is built for organic growth from day one, with clean structure, fast pages, and instant indexing. It shows how we ship products that run themselves, combining a polished editorial front end with a hands-off publishing pipeline behind it.

Lyceo
Lyceo is a private language academy on the web, built around a simple stance: learn from a real tutor, not a slot machine. There are no streaks or gems. A patient, exacting teacher takes learners from their first words to fluency and marks their work as they go. Le Prof teaches French, El Profe teaches Spanish, and the standard is the same in both. Under the hood it is an AI-taught platform. The system writes the lessons, generates a fresh set of practice questions on every attempt, and grades free-text answers with real explanations, so practice is effectively infinite and always tailored. A structured ladder runs from A1 to C2, with exam preparation for DELF, DALF, and DELE. It is a complete product: accounts and authentication, a free first unit, and per-language paid plans handled through Stripe, all built and operated by us. ## Features - __A real AI tutor__ Claude writes each lesson, generates new questions on every attempt, and grades open-ended answers with explanations, not just right-or-wrong checks. - __A serious curriculum__ A fixed, structured ladder from A1 to C2 across multiple languages, with targeted DELF, DALF, and DELE exam preparation. - __Multiple languages, one standard__ French with Le Prof and Spanish with El Profe today, built so new languages slot in without reworking the platform. - __Built to run as a business__ Accounts, a free opening unit with no card required, and per-language subscriptions billed through Stripe with a multi-language discount.

Clef
Clef is a web app that teaches a true beginner to read music, one note at a time. It is currently in active development, and already a real, playable product rather than a prototype. The idea is simple and hands-on. A note appears on the staff and the learner names it, or a letter appears and the learner places it on the staff. From there it grows into ear training, daily lessons, a pass-and-play duet mode, and a small library of songs, all wrapped in streaks, accuracy tracking, and a leaderboard to keep practice sticky. What makes it notable under the hood is the restraint: the whole interactive app is hand-coded in plain JavaScript with no framework and no build step, backed by a light serverless layer so progress can sync across devices. It is a clear example of how we can ship a polished, genuinely useful product without reaching for heavy tooling.

Thornbury & Finch
Thornbury & Finch is an estate planning and elder law practice in Birmingham, Michigan. We delivered the complete web presence: brand identity, a quiet-luxury editorial design, nine pages of fully written content, a working lead pipeline, downloadable client guides, and an ongoing content and search program. Professional services sites live or die on trust. Every choice here serves that: a hand-authored design system with no off-the-shelf UI framework, a serif pairing selected for warmth and authority, plain-language content that answers the questions Michigan families actually search for, and accessibility to WCAG AA throughout. The site is also built to earn search visibility the durable way: deep Michigan-specific content, complete structured data, and an insights section that publishes on a steady cadence against a researched keyword strategy. ## What went into it - __A complete brand and site__ Identity, five attorney and staff profiles, four practice areas, and a full content layer, designed and written end to end. - __A real lead pipeline__ Every enquiry writes to a database and sends an instant notification email, with validation, spam protection, and graceful failure handling. - __A search program, not just a site__ Insights articles target specific Michigan estate-planning queries, every page carries schema and answer-shaped structure, and new content ships weekly. - __Performance by architecture__ Static pages, no external requests, self-hosted fonts, and SVG-only artwork keep the site effectively instant.

Beckett & Moss
Beckett & Moss is a business litigation and employment law firm in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We delivered the complete presence: brand direction, a bold Swiss-modernist design system, four practice pages, a working lead pipeline, downloadable guides for owners and HR leaders, and The Briefing, a publication that has been answering Michigan business-law questions since fall 2025. Where most law firm sites whisper, this one is built to be read: near-black ink on warm paper, a single signal accent, expanded grotesk display type, and a Swiss grid with exposed hairlines and oversized index numerals. The design says what the firm says: direct, decisive, commercially fluent. Underneath the look is the same discipline we bring to every build: answer-shaped content targeting real Michigan queries, complete structured data, accessibility to WCAG AA, and static-first performance. ## What went into it - __A brand with a spine__ Identity, voice, and a design system with an actual point of view, built to stand out in a vertical of stock gavel photos. - __A publication, not just a blog__ The Briefing runs weekly, plain-English answers to the questions owners and executives actually search: non-competes, shareholder disputes, EEOC charges, contract fights. - __A real lead pipeline__ Every enquiry validates, persists to a database, and sends an instant notification, with graceful failure handling. - __Search infrastructure throughout__ Schema on every page, direct-answer openings, clean canonicals, and a weekly publishing cadence against a researched keyword strategy.

Marlowe & Voss CPAs
Marlowe & Voss is a small-business accounting firm in Ann Arbor, Michigan, built on one promise: accounting in plain English. We delivered the complete presence: brand and design system, four service pages, downloadable owner guides, a working lead pipeline, and The Ledger, a publication that has been translating accounting for business owners since summer 2025. The design carries the promise. Cool ledger paper, hairline rules, a single emerald accent, and figures set in a numerate serif: the site looks the way clean books feel. No stock handshakes, no clip-art calculators, just a firm that clearly knows where every number goes. And as always, the fundamentals are load-bearing: answer-shaped content against researched Michigan queries, complete structured data, WCAG AA accessibility, and static-first speed. ## What went into it - __A brand that reads like a clean ledger__ Identity, voice, and a design system built around hairline rules, tabular figures, and one disciplined accent color. - __The Ledger__ A weekly publication answering the questions owners actually search: owner draw versus salary, reading a balance sheet, emergency funds, entity choices. - __Owner guides worth keeping__ Downloadable plain-English guides on bookkeeping rhythms, entity selection, and what organized books change at tax time. - __A real lead pipeline__ Every enquiry validates, persists to a database, and notifies the firm instantly, engineered to degrade gracefully.

Kestler Heating & Cooling
Kestler Heating & Cooling is a second-generation residential HVAC company in Lansing, Michigan, family-run since 1987. We delivered the complete presence: brand direction, a workwear-tough design system, four service pages, homeowner guides, a working lead pipeline, and Straight Answers, an advice section that has been leveling with Lansing homeowners since fall 2025. The vertical is drowning in scare tactics and bait-priced tune-ups, so the site is built around the opposite: honest heat, straight answers. Deep navy and warm paper, a shop-floor red used like a gauge needle, brass hardware details, and copy that tells homeowners when they should not spend money. Under the hood it is the same discipline as every build we ship: answer-shaped content against real Michigan queries, complete structured data, WCAG AA accessibility, and static-first performance. ## What went into it - __A brand with calloused hands__ Identity, voice, and a design system that looks like a well-kept service truck, not a lead-gen template. - __Straight Answers__ A weekly advice section answering what homeowners actually search: furnaces blowing cold air, frozen AC coils, heating bills that spike, tune-up honesty. - __Homeowner guides__ Downloadable maintenance checklists and a guide to reading repair quotes, including the sales tactics to watch for. - __A real lead pipeline__ Every request validates, persists to a database, and notifies dispatch instantly, with graceful failure handling.
