Href Creative
We completely redesigned and rebuilt the Href Creative website from the ground up, modernizing both the technology stack and the user experience.
-
Headless Architecture: Transitioned from a traditional WordPress CMS to a headless Next.js frontend, powered by Contentful as the content management system. This gave the team more flexibility, scalability, and a future-proof development approach.
-
Performance & Compliance: Achieved significant improvements in performance, accessibility, and compliance scores, ensuring a faster, more secure, and standards-aligned web experience.
-
SEO & Site Structure: Re-engineered the site structure to strengthen SEO foundations, improve indexing, and support long-term organic visibility.
-
User Experience (UX): Overhauled the UI with a clean, intuitive design that makes it easier for users to navigate, find resources, and engage with services.
This transformation not only elevated our brand’s digital presence but also set the foundation for stronger SEO growth, higher conversion rates, and a smoother content workflow.

The Challenge
Href Creative’s original site was showing its age. Over time, it had become slow and bulky due to the sheer amount of data stored in the database and the reliance on numerous third-party plugins. These performance issues not only frustrated users but also directly hurt conversion rates.
The site itself had been built quickly as an MVP to establish an online presence, which meant long-term scalability, SEO, and user experience were never a primary focus. As the business grew, those early compromises became significant obstacles.
Other challenges included:
-
High maintenance overhead: Frequent updates and patching required extra resources while introducing risk of conflicts.
-
Limited scalability: Adding new features or expanding content strained the system and often slowed the site further.
-
Rigid architecture: The old setup made modern integrations difficult and restricted design flexibility.
-
SEO limitations: Outdated site structure reduced crawl efficiency and visibility in search engines.
-
Content bottlenecks: Publishing workflows were inefficient, making it harder for the team to keep up with evolving content needs.
-
User experience gaps: Navigation and design no longer aligned with how visitors searched for and consumed information.
The challenge was clear: Href Creative needed a complete rebuild to modernize the foundation, improve performance, and create a digital presence that matched the standard they deliver for clients.
The Solution
To address these challenges, we rebuilt the Href Creative website from the ground up with a modern, scalable, and user-focused approach.
-
Headless Architecture: We transitioned to a Next.js frontend powered by Contentful as the CMS. This separated content from presentation, reducing database bloat and eliminating reliance on heavy third-party plugins.
-
Performance Optimization: By streamlining code, reducing dependencies, and implementing best practices, we significantly improved load times, accessibility, and compliance scores.
-
Scalable Site Structure: We re-engineered the information architecture with SEO best practices in mind, creating a foundation that supports long-term growth and better organic visibility.
-
UI/UX Redesign: Our design team delivered a modern, intuitive interface that makes it easier for visitors to navigate, find resources, and take action.
-
Efficient Content Workflows: Contentful’s headless setup allowed for faster publishing and easier content management, removing bottlenecks and giving the team more flexibility.
-
Future-Proof Technology: The new stack is adaptable, ensuring that as tools, integrations, and user expectations evolve, the site can evolve with them.
This comprehensive rebuild not only solved immediate performance and usability issues but also positioned Href Creative with a future-ready digital presence that aligns with the standards they deliver for clients.

Mobile Experience
One of the biggest wins from the rebuild was the mobile experience. The old site struggled with speed and usability on mobile, which directly impacted conversions. After the redesign and rebuild, mobile performance now ranks among the top tier:
-
Performance Score: 91 (Google Lighthouse mobile)
-
First Contentful Paint: 1.0s (users see content almost instantly)
-
Largest Contentful Paint: 1.5s (well under Google’s 2.5s benchmark for good performance)
-
Speed Index: 1.0s (indicating rapid visual completeness)
-
Total Blocking Time: 380ms (dramatically reduced compared to the old site)
-
Cumulative Layout Shift: 0 (no unexpected movement, ensuring a stable, frustration-free browsing experience)
These improvements mean mobile visitors can now access content faster, navigate seamlessly, and trust the experience without delays or shifting layouts. Given that over half of all website traffic today comes from mobile devices, this upgrade ensures Href Creative’s site is competitive, conversion-focused, and aligned with modern user expectations.
