The Challenge
Understanding the problem space and identifying key obstacles.
Business law is a category where every firm claims the same three adjectives and ships the same website to prove it. The audience, owners and executives who make decisions for a living, can smell it. They do not want reassurance. They want a straight read on where they stand and what it costs.
The brief was a presence that talks to that buyer the way the firm does: direct, priced, decisive. And it had to compete in search against firms with decades of head start, which meant genuine content depth on the questions Michigan operators actually ask, not brochure copy.

We built the whole presence as one argument: this firm handles disputes like business decisions, and everything about the site behaves accordingly.

Swiss-modernist design system: Hand-written CSS, Archivo with its width axis for marquee-scale display, radius-zero geometry, exposed hairline rules, and one hot signal color used with discipline.

Content as the product: Four practice pages and a weekly publication covering the real questions: non-compete enforceability, shareholder oppression, EEOC responses, contract elements, litigation economics.

A complete lead pipeline: Validation, spam protection, database persistence, and instant email notification, engineered to degrade gracefully.

Search infrastructure: LegalService, Person, FAQPage, Article, and Breadcrumb schema, per-page metadata and canonicals, llms.txt, and answer-shaped structure on every page.
